hey guys!
a new shoutbox!!
well anw...sad news
Andrew and I had our LAST concert last night at the Esplanade
yupps. this marks the end of the 7plus months in band together
although it's such a short period of time, it really had a big impact on me
he was the one to accompany to band from the very start of J1
never did i have to go home alone once after band, even if he didnt need to report for band
[or any tht i cld rmbr of] =)
the one to accompany me during breaks
the one to encourage me to dare to play out
the one to be the first to point out my mistakes [even if he had to be harsh]
how much he has taught in music and saxophone playing
seriously, i wouldnt think yesterday would have been possible for me or the J1saxtion without him
i rmbr the sad times too
how you would get so upset with my performance
during sectionals especially
and you wouldnt tell me, afraid to make me upset too
im sorry for the times i disappointed you
but i'll make sure i wont disappoint you again..
i really improved
even with one week left, and i nearly lost all hope on Fantasy Variations, he turned the situation around
all that he has helped, taught and influenced me during this SAJCband journey these few months has really changed me and my mindset
thanks for all the help, encouragement, scoldings, care, training, stern-ess, encouragementencouragementENCOURAGEMENT...sososo much more i cant express
it's so sad that youre going and all
there'll be no one to depend on to point out my mistakes
to glady offer help ANYTYME
sit with me and go through the same part overover and over again
keep my feet warm during freezing band pracs
to help me carry my stand
be my walking partner to SASband rm and back
pull out stuck swabs
prevent me from using my nails to screw screws back on my sax
polishing my sax
my punching bag
willing listener of my lame nonsense AND my lame nonsense partner
not staring but dancing along with me
making sure im never alone
give me the most spastic smiles during demoralising band pracs
keep my reeds in his reed case
fellow 1st altosax player
to be the one that brings me so much comfort, takes away my fear [of Glosz]
and i can just continue adding so much more to this list...
will miss you so muchh dear! =((
i really can't thank you enough for all you've done
the memories and the joys you brought me
i will rmbr them, always
